يسرنا إعلامكم بإطلاق التقرير العربي للتنمية المستدامة لعام 2020. يتناول هذا التقرير أداء المنطقة على مسار تحقيق خطة عام 2030 ويحدّد موقعها من أهداف التنمية المستدامة السبعة عشر. ويتضمّن تحليلًا كمياً ونوعياً لكل هدف على أساس إطار المؤشرات العالمية الذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في عام 2017 . ويجمع هذا التقرير خلاصة الخبرة المتعددة التخصصات في الإسكوا وخبرات هيئات الأمم المتحدة العاملة في المنطقة وخبراء في شؤون المنطقة، ليرصد الروابط بين أهداف التنمية المستدامة، ويتناول العوائق الرئيسية أمام إنجازها، ويلقي الضوء على الفئات الأكثر عرضة للإهمال، ويحدد المنطلقات الأساسية للعمل في المستقبل. ويخلص التقرير إلى سلسلة نتائج مفادها ضرورة التغيير الهيكلي في المجتمع والاقتصاد والسياسة والثقافة والبيئة تحقيقاً للتحوّل المنشود في المنطقة.

Launch of the Arab Sustainable Development Report 2020

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Arab Sustainable Development Report 2020 (ASDR 2020). This report charts the regional trajectory for achieving the 2030 Agenda, and analyses where the region stands on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It offers a quantitative and qualitative analysis of each SDG in relation to the global indicator framework adopted by the General Assembly in 2017. Mobilizing the interdisciplinary knowledge and expertise of ESCWA, regional United Nations entities and a group of esteemed experts, it highlights SDG interlinkages, examines the main barriers to achievement, sheds light on those most at risk of being left behind, and identifies the most critical entry points for moving forward. The findings urge structural changes across social, economic, political, cultural and environmental dimensions, and illustrate the possibilities for regional transformation.
