The ACSS is recruiting for the following position:
Accounting Clerk
Role:
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various duties within the finance department, as directed by the senior accountant, mainly to provide assistance in executing the accounting transactions, in addition to other administrative duties.
Main responsibilities:
- Assists in the organization’s day-to-day operations of the finance department.
- Supports the Accountant in the execution of accounting/ financial transactions.
- Assists in preparing required documentation for the organization’s external auditors.
- Assists with the administration of organization’s payments and disbursements
- Performs administrative duties to support the finance department.
- Assists other units with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- BA degree in Finance/Accounting
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in a related field
- Languages: Good command of both Arabic and English, reading, speaking and transaction preparation.
- Good communication skills (Internal and External)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Knowledge of Navision system is a plus.

Salary: $1200 and a daily transport allowance as set by the Lebanese labor law. Salaries will be paid in fresh USD.
The position is based in Lebanon. Some travel may be required.
